Thanks, I've been looking for a solo build for this. I farmed him once with a group of 3 and got the drop once out of like, 15 runs

BTW, how much is the sword worth? I heard it was like 30k. Is that correct?

Well hi guys. I dunno where else to write these so i would ask u here. Im farming sunreachs shield atm and what would be the perfect build to kill and how to kill sunreach becouse around him are like 40 guards (25 warrior 5 monks and 10 ranger). Im riposte warrior atm (w/mo) with mending and skills that u sad by solo sskai. Plz give me an option

ok, i have been trying this for nearly 3 hours now

Killing him is absolutely no problem, i've killed him over 40 times now and i have yet to get a sword.

The thing you said bout the different graffics seems total bs to me as he is allways carrying the same sword.

Is the sword just not droppin anymore or something?

Honestly, if it doesn't drop in the first 10 tries you should go do something else.

My supersticious nature leads me to believe that there is another form of anti-farming code that kicks in and lowers drop rates WITHOUT telling you.

Go do Nolani Academy Mission or something easy like that and see if it resets your abysmal drop rate.

I still can't even kill him once.I've done everything and still i cannot kill him.Why?? is my armor too low? its 15k gladiator 80 al.OR am i not doing the skills right?

I tried this today twice and I got him down to the tiniest bit of health both times n then he killed the hell outta me....

It took me a bit of practice to manage to kill him. With his pure strike (or whatever it's called) and frequent healing Bonetti's Defense just wasn't generating energy like I'm used to (probably because I'm used to multiple targets hitting it) and so I was screwing up the timing and going too quickly to using Riposite/Deadly Riposite again.

Most important thing is to NOT trigger endure pain too soon, if you do and he's still alive when it fades often you'll drop to 1hp and he'll finish you off.

I did like 5-6 runs getting the hang of it and it for some reason became impossible to pull him without his buddies and the one time I did Oni spawned on me (right tight to the wall which never happened before). So, I gave up on it and ran a few rounds of AB.

When I came back I failed to kill him on my first run but got him on my second and he dropped the sword.

So he does drop it and it does work as of last night.

I also didn't take Sprint and instead brought Distracting Blow to counter his healing signet. He's not very far from the zone so I really don't see the need to sprint across an empty field to reach him. You save more time on the run stopping his heals.

I had to kill him 34 times in a row to get the sword to drop.
I suspect the drop rate for him is just bottomed out because of everyone farming him.

I can go solo Ghail or Lian and get there greens to drop twice usually within 10 runs. Lian has also started to not drop for me now.... so I suspect its the farming code making it like this.
I have had Lians Latern drop 3 times so far and Ghials staff 2. And Sskai's sword 1.

I was goona make my own thread, then I noticed this one.

Anyway I use a Mesmer's build for solo farming, though its entirely possible to do this with a necro. Here's the skill list:

Fast Casting 7 + 1 + 1
Domination Magic 10 + 1 + 3
Inspiration Magic 9 + 1
Curses 10

Signet of Midnight
Ether Feast
Mantra of Inscriptions
Diversion
Empathy
Price of Failure
Reckless Haste
Spirit of Failure

Just get Sskai isolated, spam diversion until you strike out Healing Signet, keep up MoI and SoM up, and even with all of those miss hexes... he still hits you, so keep up with ether feast.

And Sskai sword is yours, even got the overfarming message^^.

You should go with vampiric sword all the way till you reach him for faster results. Use GB when you are ar less than 100 hp. Use bonetti right after for energy fill and possibly healing yourself. After a max of 3 or 4 uses of GB, continue with ripostes only and remember to heal signet while having riposte or bonettis on yourself. If you have him on 5% for example and you are under 100hp - use endure pain. GB won't save you while he is on a low health.

Uh ! For farm him, I got a problem. My caracter is a Prophesy Character. I began in Cantha like 1 week ago. I became the quest Welcome in Cantha and I needed to go for talk to a girl for the Oracle. So, I wanna know if it will be long to accross Cantha and to go where Sskai is spotted. I don't know how many mission I need to do, or something else, for be where he is.

Ohh and. I use an axe, so I don't have a good sword. And I wanna farm him for have the sword and for sell some after, because I'm very poor, and farming troll is very long ... So if someone can give me a good sword, I will appreciate. A sword that it can kill Sskai.

The sword you use to kill Sskai doesn't matter at all. Furious might help speed things up, zealous might keep you full of energy, but the real damage is in the ripostes and Grenth's Balance. I don't know what the "official" build in this thread is, but when I farm him I don't even have any points in Swordsmanship. I hit him for -0 or -1, but that's ok because I only hit him to get adrenaline. If you're trying to kill him with your sword damage then you are doing something wrong.
